Please read the following terms & conditions carefully. These terms & conditions apply to anyone starting a WeekendTesol Course. These terms and conditions are a contract between you (Student) and WeekendTesol LLC.


All courses and products are provided by WeekendTesol LLC., 1018 Park Ave. Trenton, NJ. 08629 USA. (Registered company 0450149607 3/10/2017)

Terms of Use:

This website, domain, and all its content is owned and operated by WeekendTesol LLC. All intellectual property rights, including copyright in all content and communication belongs to WeekendTesol LLC. By entering WeekendTesol.com you are agreeing to these terms of use which state that the content and property of WeekendTesol cannot be copied, reproduced, modified, stored, redistributed or exploited commercially or otherwise in any way without express written consent from WeekendTesol.


Terms of Use of this Website and all of its content, products, and services:


WeekendTesol LLC. may change the content, which includes prices, offers, and content at any time without notice. We do not provide a warranty or guarantee of its accuracy, completeness, suitability, timeliness or performance of information or content in the website. If there are errors in the information provided in the content of the website we expressly exclude liability for these inaccuracies to the fullest extent that the law permits.

You can use any of the information or content at your own risk for which WeekendTesol LLC. will not be held liable. It will be your responsibility to ensure that any products or services you purchase are suitable to your current requirements.

Any breach of these terms may result in a criminal offense being committed followed by possible prosecution.

Definition of Course:


20 Hour Tesol/Tefl Course

Consisting of:

  • 10 Hours 1st day

  • 10 Hours 2nd day

Student must be present for the entirety of both days of the Tesol/Tefl course in order to be eligible to receive certification of completion.

All of the courses, products, and service in the website and any other online or printed material is provided by WeekendTesol LLC. and is subject to the following conditions:


1. Course Requirements:


By purchasing a WeekendTesol course you (the student) confirm that you meet the following minimum requirements of the course.


1. You understand that all of the courses provided by WeekendTesol are taught in English.


  • All customers of the 20 Hour Tesol/Tefl Course must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course completion.


  • All students must have a competent native level of English, or if not a native English speaker student should have strong fluency and command of the English Language, and possess a reasonable competency in English language reading, writing and speaking skills.


  • All candidates must have the ability to take advice from professors and from peers and have the capability to make improvements to their result if required.


  • An individual must be a native English speaker or if not a native English speaker should have strong fluency and command of the English Language as determined by the instructor.


By making a booking with WeekendTesol LLC., it is assumed that the candidate satisfies the above conditions and is deemed to have a competent level of English. The student, by making a booking, takes full responsibility in determining whether the course is suitable for their level of English. WeekendTesol takes no responsibility if the candidate is unable to complete and pass the course.


  • If a WeekendTesol instructor feels at any point during the course that the student’s level is below a sufficient level, as per the terms and conditions, the WeekendTesol instructor will have the right to fail the student.


  • A student’s suitable level of English proficiency will be determined by the instructor during the actual course. Any student who is found to not possess a reasonable competency in English language reading, writing and speaking skills, will be deemed as unsuitable for the course and the WeekendTesol instructor will have the right to fail the student.


  • WeekendTesol does not accept any liability for any losses, costs, or expenses incurred by or on behalf of a student in connection with a student’s insufficient language ability.


  • Purchasing a WeekendTesol 20-Hour course does not mean that a student has a right or guarantee to pass and/or receive certification. WeekendTesol reserves the right to fail a student if he/she does not meet the minimum requirements of the course.


  • The student will make a full declaration of any information deemed to be relevant by WeekendTesol LLC.


  • The student agrees to follow any and all of the policies and regulations set down by WeekendTesol the lack of which may result in a failure to complete the course.


2. How to make a booking:


  • Booking can be made online on our website www.weekendtesol.com or through anyone of our billing partners including, but not limited to www.facebook.com/weekendtesol, and  www.eventbrite.com. The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and by paying for the course accepts the terms and conditions. WeekendTesol LLC states that by paying for a booking you have read the terms and conditions. You are also responsible for the accuracy of your personal details. WeekendTesol LLC will only deal with you in the event of cancellations or disputes via email.


  • You must make full payment at the time of booking. WeekendTesol does not accept deposit, partial payments, or installment payments. WeekendTesol will not accept cash payment or any type of payment on location at the date of the course. Once your booking has been accepted you will receive an invoice within 24 hours from the time of purchase. Once that invoice has been generated a contract exists between you and WeekendTesol LLC., and all terms and conditions apply. Once you have received this invoice please go ahead and check it and inform us of any changes to personal details and contact information.


  • Once WeekendTesol LLC. has received you payment for the course you will be added to the list of participants. Please bring identification so that you may be allowed access to the course.


3. Price of Courses:


  • All prices that are advertised on our website are correct at the time of booking. However, WeekendTesol reserves the right and discretion to change our prices at any time. Please check our website for up-to-date prices and special offers before you book.


  • Once you have paid for a course you will be sent email confirmation within 24 hours of payment. If you do not receive an email then please contact us at Moises@weekendtesol.com.


  • WeekendTesol reserves the right to change any of its prices at any time.


4. Procedure for changing or cancelling a booking:


  • 7 days prior to commencement of course:


You, the consumer, have the right to cancel the contract between you and WeekendTesol LLC. during the period of 7 days prior to the date of commencement of the course. Once we receive your written cancellation, in form of an email we will refund your course fees within 30 days minus taxes and fees.


Once you have started the course you will no longer be able to get a full refund.


However, if you need to change the start date of a course for any reason, our Director of Studies will consider this, and you will be able to change the start date for a fee of $50.00 if agreed by our Director of Studies. The Director of Studies can be reached via email at Moises@weekendtesol.com


  • You must inform us of your intent to cancel by writing to Moises@weekendtesol.com in the form of an email.


  • Once we have received your written cancellation letter we will refund you within 30 days of receiving your letter and deduct any credit card surcharge, taxes, and/or fees if applicable.


5. Time Period for the completion of courses


  • 20 Hour Tesol/Tefl Course:

20 Hour Tesol/Tefl course must be completed in the period for which the student registered. Failure to arrive for registered class will result in forfeiture of payment. Course must be completed as described with 10 hours of class time on the first day and 10 hours of class on the second day. The course days must happen consecutively and cannot be done discontinuously.


6. How to pass the course?


  • Once a student’s proficiency in writing, reading, and speaking English is confirmed, the assessment for passing the course will be confined to student’s lesson planning/teaching practice and activities.


  • By purchasing a course does not automatically guarantee that you will pass the course. If you fail to meet the requirements of passing the course then WeekendTesol reserves the right to fail you.


7. Plagiarism:


  • If any student is found to have copied another student’s work then they will be issued with 1 formal warning. In subsequent cases the student will be deemed to have taken part in plagiarism and be failed. In the event of plagiarism no refund will be given to the student.


8. Certificates:


  • Every student who passes the 20-hour, course will receive a PDF copy of the WeekendTesol Certificate by email within 7 Days of passing the Tesol/TEFL Course, as well as a physical copy mailed to the address they provided. WeekendTesol will do everything possible to make sure that you receive your physical certificate within 30 days of passing the course. However, we do not take any responsibility for any postal service problems, which might delay your certificate and we do not take responsibility for a lost certificate due to in-country postal problems. We can provide proof that the Certificate was sent to your confirmed postal address. This covers all geographic locations.


  • WeekendTesol will supply you with a new certificate in the event of loss or damage for a fee of $30.00.


9. Limitation of Liability


WeekendTesol does not accept any liability for any loss or additional expense caused by delay or disruption to travel services, weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods, sickness or force majeure. Such losses or additional expenses are your responsibility. Force majeure represents unusual or unforeseeable circumstances, which include: war, terrorist activities, riots, natural disasters or nuclear disasters such as fire, flood or adverse weather conditions.


10. Complaints


If at any time you are unhappy with the WeekendTesol service then please contact us immediately at Moises@weekendtesol.com and we will endeavor to respond as quickly as possible following the receipt of your complaint.


11. Accuracy of Marketing Materials


WeekendTesol makes every effort to ensure that the marketing material in our website is up to date and accurate. We take no responsibility for any information that is deemed incorrect and we will endeavor to do our best to inform you of any changes to the course. We reserve the right to change any of the information in our website at any time we feel appropriate.


12. The Law and its Jurisdiction:


These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of and in connection with them or their subject matter (including no contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the Laws of these United States and shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising out of it. Furthermore any dispute or claim arising in connection with the terms and conditions or their subject matter will be handled solely through arbitration.


13.Third Party Rights:


A person that has no connection to the course shall have no rights in the contract.


14. Changes to Terms and Conditions:


WeekendTesol reserves the right to change any of these conditions at any time deemed necessary to reflect current market and/or economic conditions.


15. Severance:


If any party finds any of the terms and conditions in this document to be deemed illegal, invalid or unenforceable then these parts will be deleted while the other parts of the terms and conditions will be deemed valid.


16. The Course:


The Course and its relevant details are solely for your use. Any other party cannot use these details unless expressly written permission is given.


17. Acceptance of these terms and conditions:


By reading these terms and conditions, commencing the course, or making payment on the website you are accepting all terms and conditions of WeekendTesol.

Please be aware that we do our best to respond to contact emails as quickly as possible. This includes emails sent to us by moises@weekendtesol.com and/or any of the forms on our website. We have very high customer service expectations and will endeavour to reply to your contact email as soon as possible after receipt of your email. We would also like to make you aware that sometimes spam filters do not allow our emails into your system. Please check your junk/spam folders and the settings on your Email Client. WeekendTesol LLC. does not take responsibility for you not receiving emails due to filters/junk or spam folders on your Email Client.


We would like to make it clear that we answer your telephone calls and the only way to reach us are through direct message on our facebook account or through email. We ask that if you contact us by email we will endeavour to get back to you by email as soon as possible after receiving your email.


19. Controlling your Personal Information:


Please be aware that you as an individual can choose to allow your personal information to be used by businesses at any time.

21. Once you accept the following Terms and Conditions you enter into a contract between WeekendTesol LLC. and yourself.


WeekendTesol LLC. reserves the right to change any of the content, material, prices, offers or time period of the courses at any time. We advise you to read and accept the terms and conditions at the time of booking.

23. Copyright:


All material on this website is owned by WeekendTesol LLC. This includes all material, video and audio, graphics, content, design, appearance. As per the Terms and Conditions no material on this website or related courses can be copied or reused by anyone without the permission of WeekendTesol.


24. Medical Disclaimer:


Please note that the 20 Hour Tesol/TEFL Course is not a medical course nor does it contain medical information. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions that you believe may hinder you from taking part in the 20 Hour Tesol/TEFL Course, we advise you to consult a medical doctor before you begin the course.


25. Appeals or Re-assessment.

  • If a student wishes to appeal or undergo a re-assessment, we will grant him the opportunity. In the case of an appeal, WeekendTesol will consult with ACCREDITAT on the merits of the appeal. In the case of a re-assessment, the student will be allowed to redo a test up to 2 times.

  • WeekendTesol will ensure that students are aware of the assessment outcomes, particularly re-assessment outcomes and appeals by being provided a document via email before the date of the class, that specifies requirements and expectations of students.

  • All documents pertaining to appeals and/or reassessment fill be filed and stored.

26. Storage of information

  • WeekendTesol will store any and all relevant information about a student’s performance, assessments, and certifications received in a password protected online storage system such as Dropbox so that they can easily and efficiently be retrieved by WeekendTesol staff and delivered to students or relevant 3rd parties.

27. Security measures in place to ensure that certificates from Providers are received by relevant students or their authorised representatives:

Procedure for verifying identity of person receiving the certificate:

  • Upon arriving in class, student will provide a picture ID to the tutor to verify their identity.

Procedure for verifying identity of person requesting the re-issuance of a certificate:

  • When requesting a re-issuance of a certificate, student must make the request via email to Moises@weekendtesol.com.  They must submit a copy of their photo ID for verification of Identity and the date of course completion.

Authorised representative or 3rd party election:

  • If a student elects to authorize a representative or 3rd party to receive a copy of their certification they must do so in writing via email to Moises@weekendtesol.com with a copy of their photo ID for verification of identity and the date of course completion.

Roles and responsibilities of staff handling certificates are specified:

  • Only administrators will be handling certificates. Certificates will be email or mailed (depending on the student’s preference) based on the above stated criteria. Administrators handling certificates will have the responsibility to file and/or retrieve certificate and mail/email to appropriate party in a timely manner.

Staff awareness of security measures:

  • Certificates and all relevant files related to WeekendTesol will be stored in a password protected online database. Only administrators will have access to this database.
